Welsh Mountain ponies Section A

Llanarth alfie boe welsh section a grey gelding stallion lead rein mountain and morland pony

Although there have always been Mountain Ponies at Llanarth, in recent years the number of mares has increased. In 2018, Dukeshill Magnum joined the Stud for his days. Thanks to Kathy and Jo Sheil for entrusting us with their special boy. Sadly, we lost him in August 2020, and his last foals arrived in the Spring of 2021.

After the sad loss of Dukeshill Magnum we were on the look out for a new boy. In October 2020 we welcomed ‘Barney’ and he is siring lovely foals with beautiful temperaments. Thank you to the Hoeke family for parting with him.
